1. Prayer
Praying is the way we communicate with our heavenly father.
By praying to Jesus we are humbling ourselves and telling
him about things that we are going through.
And about things we may need help on.
The bible says -"Pray without Ceasing" 1 Thessalonians 5:17
When we pray without ceasing (stopping) we are showing God
we are not ashamed to confess our faults and ask forgiveness.
Sometimes people might say Lord I have done you wrong
I have committed a sin. They immediately stop praying to Jesus, because
they think they are not worthy enough.
But Jesus said "Come as you are". No matter what sins you have committed
or done. Come to me and tell me don't be ashamed. Because I am the First
and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Jesus already knows about the things we have done before we even do them.
Just remember Pray without ceasing! It will help you get closer to Jesus.
2. Fasting
Mark 9:29 - "And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing,
but by prayer and fasting."
Fasting is when you take sometime out of your schedule to spend that time
with Jesus. Many people have No Food fast others have No Food or Drink.
During the times of a fast you concentrate only on Jesus by praying
and reading your word. Fasting is the time to get closer to Jesus and really
get to know him better.
3. Reading Your Word - The HOLY BIBLE (KJV)
The Bible is our Weapon to fight the enemy.
How can we fight our enemy without the proper weapon.
The bible is our instructions. Follow the instructions and you
will definitely make it into heaven.
4. Obeying ALL Ten Commandments
The 10 Commandments - God's Revelation in the Old Testament
The 10 Commandments are found in the Bible's Old Testament at Exodus,
Chapter 20. They were given directly by God to the people of Israel at
Mount Sinai after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt:
"And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…
ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of
anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or
that is in the water under the earth.'
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'
FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'
FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'
SIX: 'You shall not murder.'
SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'
EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'
NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'
TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet
your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor
his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'
5. Paying your Tithes and Offering
Malachi 3:8
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say,
Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Jesus said how do people rob me "By Tithes and Offering"
All Jesus is asking from us is to pay 10 percent of all increase.
Example: $1.00 = 1 penny
$10.00 = 1 dollar
$100.00 = $10.00
Jesus didn't ask us for much. So Give Jesus his 10 percent. Don't
